What Clients Say

Reviews from Hat Yai and Beyond

These are accounts from clients who came to us during genuinely difficult moments. We share them with appreciation for their trust.

Somchai P.

Hat Yai · Divorce Counsel

"I was not sure what to expect from a legal office. I had heard stories of being rushed and told what to do without explanation. Saengchan was nothing like that. Khun Pattama walked me through every step slowly and made sure I understood what I was signing. The divorce process took longer than I had hoped, but I always knew why."

Songkhla · Mediation

"My brother and I had not spoken properly in over a year because of a disagreement about our mother's house. Khun Warin arranged the mediation sessions in a way that felt fair to both of us — not taking sides, but making sure we both spoke and listened. We reached an agreement after two sessions. I am glad we tried this before going to court."

Hat Yai · Adoption Support

"We had already tried to navigate the adoption process on our own and found it very confusing. Khun Niran explained exactly what was needed, what order things had to go in, and what to expect from the court. He never made us feel foolish for not knowing already. It took several months but we had complete confidence throughout."

Sadao · Divorce Counsel

"The fees were clear from the beginning, which was something I appreciated more than I expected to. Going through separation is already hard enough — I did not want to wonder every week what the bill would look like. Saengchan quoted the work, explained what it included, and stuck to it."

Hat Yai · Guardianship

"Setting up legal guardianship for my elderly father was more involved than I expected. Khun Niran advised us on what the court would need and helped us prepare the documentation without any gaps. There was one delay when the court asked for additional information, but the team handled it and kept us informed. Honest and thorough."

Hatyai · Mediation

"My husband and I were considering separation but were not sure. We used the mediation service to have a structured conversation about our situation with some outside guidance. It helped us think more clearly. In the end, we decided to stay together. I did not feel any pressure from Saengchan to pursue the legal route — that mattered."

Case Studies

A Closer Look at Three Journeys

Every family situation is different. Here are three that illustrate the range of what we handle and how we approach it.

Case Study 01 · Divorce & Separation

Separating After a Long Marriage with Shared Assets

Challenge

A couple married for over twenty years wished to separate. They had a shared property, a joint business, and two adult children. Both parties were willing to proceed mutually but needed guidance on asset division and on the registration procedure at the district office.

Solution

We held separate consultations with each party, reviewed their assets, and drafted a clear division agreement. We then facilitated the signing and arranged the registration appointment at the district office in Hat Yai. No court involvement was required.

Outcome

The separation was registered within six weeks of first contact. Both parties reported feeling the process was handled with respect. They maintained a cooperative relationship around their shared business interests following the legal resolution.

Timeline: 6 weeks

Case Study 02 · Family Mediation

Sibling Dispute Over a Parent's Inheritance

Challenge

Three siblings in a disagreement about the management of their late father's property. One sibling had been living in the property, while the other two wanted to sell. Communication had broken down and one party had consulted a separate lawyer about court action.

Solution

We conducted individual pre-mediation conversations with all three parties to understand their priorities. A joint mediation session was arranged where all three could raise their concerns with a neutral facilitator. A follow-up session addressed remaining practical questions about the property management timeline.

Outcome

The siblings reached a written agreement on a phased sale timeline that gave the resident sibling adequate time to find alternative accommodation. The court action was not pursued. All three described the outcome as acceptable, even if not each party's first preference.

Timeline: 3 sessions over 4 weeks

Case Study 03 · Adoption Support

Domestic Adoption of a Child in the Extended Family

Challenge

An aunt and uncle wished to formally adopt their niece, who had been in their care since early childhood. The biological parents consented, but the family had no legal experience and were uncertain how to proceed given the existing informal care arrangement.

Solution

We confirmed the eligibility of all parties, prepared all required documentation including consent declarations, coordinated with the Department of Children and Youth, and prepared the family for the court hearing. We attended the hearing with the family and addressed the court's procedural questions.

Outcome

The adoption was approved by the court in Songkhla. Post-approval registration was completed within two weeks. The family described the experience as significantly less stressful than they had anticipated, and reported that the step-by-step preparation made the court appearance feel manageable.

Timeline: 14 weeks
